RTK Control valves (MV/PV)
Control valves are essential components of the system. A right selection has a large influence on the stability and performance of the system and the quality of the product in the cold chain. The long time experience of Wijbenga with RTK valves in the refrigeration industry, assures the best selection and execution for each application. The valves are “tailor made” selected and produced for each specific situation.
RTK valves are applicable for controlling or stopping liquid, gas and liquid/gas mixture flows in industrial systems. In refrigeration systems the valves can be used in a large temperature range and for design pressures from PS16 up to PS 160. These valves are excellent fur the use as expansion valves. Special solutions are available in cases of large pressure differential with more stage inserts for more stage expansion. Valves can be executed with PTFE seat ring for bubble tight shut off.
All RTK valves have reliable spindle seals, applicable for many refrigerants as i.e. NH3, CO2 and most synthetic refrigerants. For increased liability in applications below 0˚C a spindle heater must be used. RTK actuators, powered by electricity or pneumatically are available in a number of varieties and options to cover most of the field demands.
Examples of applications:
-
Expansion valve between high pressure, intermediate pressure and low pressure
-
Control valve for wet return lines
