Economizers

WITT economizers are used to improve the efficiency of screw compressors. By applying an economiser, the amount of flash gas at low pressure level side can be reduced. This results in a smaller compressor and separator and an increase of the efficiency of the system. Because of the simple mechanical construction, WITT economizers are very reliable and maintenance free.

Construction:

• A Witt high pressure float between the condenser and the economiser with stop valves for fluid entry, purging and drain.
• Economiser vessel with built-in HD-float body.
• Suction line with stop valve to economiser port of the compressor
• Liquid outlet with stop valve to LD-side
• Maximum security level NGX
• Safety Connection
• Steel frame with wooden saddles
