WITT high pressure floats are designed for expansion between the high- and low-pressure side of a refrigeration or heat pump system using pump- or natural circulation. The WITT high pressure floats are also suitable for draining condensate during hot gas defrost of air coolers, condensate from heat exchangers for heat recovery and from open-economizers. Selection of high pressure floats is done with specially developed software. The simple mechanical construction and operation, of these floats switch makes then very reliable without maintenance. There are three standard types, the HR, HS and WP.
The HR is the basic version and available in four sizes with the codes HR1 to HR4. Each size is available in several capacities, indicated by H, M, L or X. The HS type is mounted directly under water cooled condensers, to reduce the refrigerant charge.
In addition, the HS type for higher pressures and can be used for heat pumps and CO2 systems. The HS version is available in three sizes with the codes HS2 to HS4. Each size is available in several capacities, indicated by H, M, L.
Type HSF is designed for direct mounting to plate heat exchangers. Instead of the inlet nozzle at the top, the HSF can be ordered with a matching flange on the housing cover.
The WP version is specially designed for high temperature heat pumps and has a design pressure of 65 bar. The WP version is available with the codes WP2 and WP3 and is characterized by the assembly above the condenser.
